Steve is a first‑chair trial lawyer with deep experience in commercial, energy, and intellectual property litigation, as well as corporate investigations.

He served as the global head of litigation at TechnipFMC for more than seven years, where he oversaw corporate investigations, international arbitration, FCPA and corruption matters, shareholder class actions, securities matters, patent disputes, and trade secret litigation. In that role, he also advised senior leadership and the board on compliance, crisis and risk management, and corporate governance.

Before joining TechnipFMC, Steve spent over sixteen years with international law firms in Houston and concurrently served as a colonel in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps Reserve and Air National Guard, retiring in 2021.

Steve brings substantial first‑chair trial experience, a strong record leading complex investigations, and a practical understanding of corporate compliance programs. His in‑house perspective and industry knowledge add meaningful depth to the Firm’s litigation and investigations capabilities.
